Audi A5 vs. BMW 4 Series

The 45 TFSI® is the standard engine across the A5 lineup. It produces 261 horsepower. On the other hand, the BMW has a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine under the hood, which outputs 255 horsepower.

The difference is slight. However, the Audi’s extra power may be better in situations when you need an extra push of acceleration, such as in passing cars on the highway or revving up to speed.

As the driver, you’ll be treated to several amenities in the A5 and the 4 Series, including:

Although the BMW 4 Series is available with Vernasca and Merino leather, you’ll find SensaTec upholstery on its starting trim. This is imitation leather. If you’d prefer authentic leather for your seats, choose the Audi.
